FBM Monthly Post
Review of February 2025
Just quick highlights of some things I reflected on last month. Sometimes fantasy baseball related, and sometimes not.
TWEET/POST OF THE MONTH:
QUOTE OF THE MONTH:
“There is nothing so useless as doing efficiently that
which should not be done at all.”
- Peter Drucker (author, management consultant)
MUSINGS OF THE MONTH:
FBM Musings: Crowd Wisdom or Crowd Think?
Did your parents ever tell you not to hang out with the wrong crowd? They didn’t want you associating with kids that were “troublemakers”. You’re so impressionable at that young age. They probably worried that you might be negatively influenced by bad behaviors.
MONTHLY AFFIRMATION:
Just because others excel at your interests doesn't mean there's no room for your unique perspective. When we see someone doing effortlessly the thing that we struggle with, it's natural to feel frustrated by our own clumsy attempts and disappointing results.
When something takes us 15 times longer than someone else, whether due to time constraints, skill differences, or current life priorities, it can be discouraging. It’s best to learn to accept these limitations.
Don’t worry about it and simply persist.
Simple, but not easy.
Thanks for reading.
Take care.
